The unemployment rate decreased in North Carolina in November.
The rate is down to 10 percent, down from 10.4 percent.
Despite the small margin, N.C. Department of Commerce Deputy Secretary Dale Carroll says "the drop in the unemployment rate was significant. However, the focus must remain on growing jobs in our state. The private sector has experienced moderate growth over the past year."
The number of unemployed people in our state decreased by 16,385 to 451,413.
