Man Arrested In NC For Maryland Murder

Prince George's County, Maryland Police have arrested a suspect in the slaying last month of a Laurel man.

Twenty-five-year-old Jamar Slade Russell was arrested Thursday in Laurinburg, N.C. Police say he will be charged with first-degree murder and is awaiting extradition to Maryland.

Russell is a suspect in the death on Dec. 11 of 28-year-old James Lamont Tinsley of Laurel. Police say Tinsley was found in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.
