Police said there was no neighborly love lost between two men after a heated argument turned into an attempted murder.
The Roanoke-Chowan News Herald reports on July 28th, Jarvis Eley got in a heated argument with his neighbor, who reports do not identify, at the Arrowhead Mobile Home Park in Woodland.
Reports say police responded to a call there of a stabbing which they say resulted from the fight between Eley and his neighbor.
The paper reports the victim was taken to Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie and was later taken to Vidant in Greenville. Police tell the paper the victim is now home recovering from surgery.
Eley was booked in the Northampton County jail under a $250,000 bond on the charge of attempted first degree murder.
Court records published online show Eley is scheduled to be in court Monday, August, 5th.
