Greenville Walks Against Elder Abuse

A local community is taking a stand against elder abuse by raising awareness, one step at a time.

An Elder Abuse Awareness Walk will take place in Greenville Thursday where walkers can shed light on the often hidden issue.

The event features activities including an arts and crafts sale, door prizes, and Elder Abuse themed quilts.

The walk will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Alice F. Keene Park and Recreation Center on County Home Road.
