Gas prices are on the rise and people in Eastern Carolina say they are feeling the pain at the pump.
The average price of regular gas in North Carolina has gone up 13 cents from $3.39 last week, to $3.52 this week. The gas price has gone up 30 cents last since last month.
Greenville Resident Briana Hall told WITN, "I haven't gone to the beach as much because that's a far drive. I've gone once, but had ot save up just to go, just for the gas to go."
The national average price for regular gas is $3.60 cents.
