A 6-year-old Forsyth County boy has been rescued after he fell 22 feet into a well.
Paramedics pulled Mason Kenerly from the well in Walkertown on Monday afternoon.
He was in good condition at Wake Forest Baptist medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Jennifer Watson says her nephew was in chest-deep, 67-degree water for about 40 minutes before he was rescued.
Watson says the boy was playing with his brother and cousin and jumped on the top of a well and the concrete seal broke.
The boy's father says his son was able to stay afloat by holding two pipes.
Watson says rescue workers told Mason how to put on a harness so they could pull him out of the water.
