Final Marine Pleads In Urination Case

Another Camp Lejeune Marine had plead in the case of deployed troops urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters.

Camp Lejeune officials said on Wednesday, Sergeant Robert Richards plead guilty to two articles in the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Richards has now been reduced in rank to a corporal.

A YouTube video went viral in January of 2012, showing four U.S. Marines urinating on the corpses of Taliban members.

Lejeune officials said on January 29th of this year, Richards was charged with urinating on Taliban corpses along with other Marines and recording a video of the act.

Marines said Richards court martial closes the final case in the urination scandal.

Investigators said in total, 8 Marines have been court-martialed in connection to the case.
