Elections Board Dismisses McCrory Complaint

The North Carolina State Board of Elections has unanimously dismissed a complaint against the 2008 gubernatorial campaign of Republican Pat McCrory.

The board Thursday found no evidence of improper coordination between the former Charlotte mayor and an outside GOP group.

The board launched the investigation in October in response to a 2010 complaint by the North Carolina Democratic Party. The complaint alleged McCrory's campaign coordinated fundraising and spending efforts with the Republican Governors Association, which would be a breach of state and federal campaign-finance laws.

A copy of the state report obtained by The Associated Press showed that investigators found no evidence that the allegation was true.

A second complaint against the McCrory campaign is pending.

McCrory is running again for governor in 2012.

this is what we get from this story... The Democrats ran a crooked campaign - several of which have been charged with felonies.... The Republicans ran an honest campaign - 2 investigation cleared them of any wrong doing. with that said, the democrats want for us to trust them and vote for them in 2012... right!

He looks like a weasel to me but at least he is not Bev. That alone get him my vote. I will vote for weasels and warmongers over liberal, progressive socialists every day and twice on Sunday. Ideally I would like to vote for someone not identified by party affiliation but those parties have been making the rules so long that it is impossible for a common person run a campaign for such an office as governor.
