Charlotte Pregnant Woman Murdered, Suspect In Custody

A man accused of killing a pregnant co-worker in Charlotte and putting her body in a dumpster is under arrest now, found much closer to eastern Carolina than to the crime scene.

Twenty-two-year-old Mark Cox is charged with first degree murder after Charlotte police say he killed the manager at the restaurant he worked at.

Danielle Watson was two months pregnant and only 25-years-old. Watson's stolen car helped lead police in Fayetteville to Cox. According to court records, Cox had been released from prison on robbery with a dangerous weapons charge two months ago.

If the judicial system lets them go for whatever reason, over crowding, type of crime, etc just put a tatto on the criminals forehead. If they are a habitual criminal anf/or amenace to soceity that will help warn people to stay away from these types and maybe save lives and cut down on crime. The current system (or lack there of) is certaninly not working.

This is a perfect example of why felons find it difficult to get jobs when they are released from prison. I hope if he is guilty that he receives the death penalty. My prayers and condolences go out to the family of the victim.

What people don't realize, majority of all personnels in a restaurant who cook the food you eat have an extensive criminal background record. That's one of the jobs that we are easier hired. Along with outdoor jobs and house services.

Nobody has to blame Obama for this--obviously, he can't be responsible for every lousy thing that happens in this world--he has his hands full with all of the lousy things that he truly is responsible for! By the way, he doesn't have anything to do with this article--why did you open up this can of worms?

There are people on this forum who find a way to blame everything that happens on the president. Where have you been?

Just out of prison 2 months, and no supervision. Somebody needs to fire the whole crew in Raleigh. That charge merits some type of supervision. FYI Bev... changing the department name doesn't make the issues go away.

Exactly. Two months later he escalated to murder. Murdering a woman and her unborn child! Maybe if we had cut a hand off for the robbery the first time, murder would have been a little difficult.
