Brad Cooper Found Guilty Of Killing His Wife

A jury in Raleigh has found a native Canadian accused of killing his wife in their North Carolina home in 2008 guilty.

Brad Cooper is accused of strangling his wife, Nancy, in the overnight hours following a July 11, 2008, party at a neighbor's home in Cary. Witnesses testified the couple argued at the party and appeared headed for divorce.

Brad Cooper told police his wife went for a jog July 12, 2008, and never returned. Her body was found two days later.

Jurors deliberated for three days before announcing their verdict late Thursday.

I read every article in the N&O on this case. He probably did it, but the evidence they had on him was not strong enough. He'll appeal.
