There is some good news on the employment front all across the state--unemployment rates have dropped in all the North Carolina's 100 counties.
March figures were released Friday morning. Unemployment rates also dropped in all 14 of the state's metro areas. Goldsboro showed a .7% decline, Greenville with a .4% decline, Jacksonville down .6% and Rocky Mount with a .8% decrease.
Among counties in the state, Dare County saw the biggest drop, down 3% to 14.4%, while Hyde County was second with a 2.4% drop to 11.6%.
Other counties in Eastern Carolina which saw significant drops were Tyrrell with a drop of 1.6%, Halifax with a 1.4% decrease, Jones had a 1.3% decline, and Pamlico showed a 1.2% drop.
