Pirate Fest Draws Large Crowds In Greenville

All things pirate were on full display today in Greenville.

The Fourth Annual Pirate Fest kicked off, complete with real pirate fight reenactments

Crowds were gathered at the town commons and had free roam of Evans Street to get a close look at the action. Some dressed normal others got in on the action, dawning eye patches, fake beards and a little more.

There was plenty of popular buccaneer food to eat, turkey legs, hotdogs, Philly cheese steaks, ice cream and funnel cake.

The street fair had several art displays in accordance with the Greenville Arts Council. Even a booth where you could make your own rum.

Organizers say the event drew a great crowd, and look forward to doing it next year
