NC Probation Officer Faces Multiple Charges

North Carolina officials say a probation officer has been fired after she was charged with several crimes, including unlawfully having sex with someone on probation.

The Fayetteville Observer reported Saturday that court documents and police reports show 45-year-old Katrina Milstein of Fairmont faces drug, weapons and conspiracy charges as well as a charge of filing a false police report.

Lumberton police say Milstein admitted having a relationship with a probationer after he was seen driving her car. Milstein was not his probation officer.

Milstein was released on bail Thursday. A phone listing for her could not be found.

The investigation led police to arrest 17 other people including three on probation. None were assigned to Milstein.

Just a couple of years ago same story in Washington Co. To the powers that be in Raleigh, LOOK WHAT YOUR 4 YEAR DEGREE GETS YOU. You can not be a PPO on Intensive PO on NC without that piece of paper. Look what it gets you. Just because someone has this degree in it don't matter what field as long as they have the piece of paper the powers that be says they are now qualified. It is stupid period. They have some very good surveilance officers with outstanding service records who will never get promoted unless they get a 4 year degree in shoveling manure or something.

Well, it isn't a world of all good and all bad. There is some of both in everybody along with a whole lot of susceptibility to make mistakes in all people. The world is not divided among good and bad, those guilty or not guilty, those perfect or imperfect, it is divided by those who have been caught and those who haven't. Some of the worst people I know, for one reason or another, have no criminal record. Some of the best people I know, for one reason or another, have criminal records. If you make a woman mad enough, you will have a criminal record whether you actually do anything or not. You can make a mistake, run across a tight-tailed cop who would push anything to get a conviction on someone, run across a dirty cop, a misunderstanding or get caught sitting in a car with someone in possession of drugs with or without your knowledge and dolts like Matt lump you into a one size fits all pile. It could happen to anyone, except Matt, he is the second perfect human on earth.
