Tourism officials will flood eastern Carolina this weekend.
The Governor's Conference on Hospitality and Tourism will be held Saturday through Tuesday at the New Bern/Craven County Convention Center and Visitors Bureau.
About 500 tourism officials are expected to attend. The theme this year to go along with the city's 300th anniversary is "Living The Story."
The long weekend will have officials busy in workshops, general sessions, and a reception.
Tourism officials will take to the streets Monday night with the public for a night full of entertainment at "Downtown Alive."
