Man Due In Court In Connection With Mysterious Death Of Joshua Hines

It could be a big break in the mysterious death of a man from Eastern Carolina just before Christmas, as one man heads to court Friday in connection with the case.

Forty-three year-old Richard Schouten is due in court Friday morning in Wilmington, in connection with the death of 26-year-old Joshua Hines of Greenville. Schouten is charged with concealment/failure to report a death, along with drug charges, according to the NBC affiliate in Wilmington, WECT.

Hines was found dead in the woods at Carolina Beach State Park on December 17. The preliminary autopsy showed no signs of trauma, and it's not clear how the J.H. Rose graduate died.

He failed to report a death, not murder the kid. This is why parents need to keep their kids away from drugs. Especially with Hines record.

I hope this man will pay in a large way for his treatment of such a kind and beautiful young man. I pray that his family and friends will be able to find peace with the information that should be coming forward. His mother, Tammy who loves her son more than you can imagine, especially deserves closure and to have her questions answered and most of all to see justice served in Court. My prayers and thoughts are with Tammy and Josh's family and friends.
