SOURCE: Laurean Trial Moved To Wayne County

It's a high profile murder case in the East that has received a lot of media attention. As a result a change of venue request has been granted, and now prosecutors plan to announce where the June trial will take place.

Former Camp Lejeune Marine, Cesar Laurean is awaiting trial for the death of his comrade, Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach.

District Attorney Dewey Hudson will hold a news conference on the case Monday where he is expected to announce the location of the trial. A source tells WITN News that the trial will be moved to Wayne County.

Greg, how do you think he is innocent? LCPL Lauderbach's body was burned and buried in his back yard. That right there tells me he did it.

I'm from Wayne County and I have never served jury duty. I'll gladly offer my services for this trial. I can be impartial...

I, too, would like to serve on this jury. Too bad that the death sentance has been taken out of play by the extradition agreement with Mexico!

The trial is a farse,For mexico to extradite him the death sentence had to be taken off the table. We all know he will get life without parole to be at taxpayers expence.the only hope is another inmate will inflict the death sentence on him.
