Attorney: Madoff Had Dizziness, High Blood Pressure

A lawyer for the hospitalized Bernard Madoff says his client has experienced dizziness and high blood pressure.

The Bureau of Prisons said Thursday that the 71-year-old disgraced financier remains under medical care for a seventh day.

Prison officials have declined to reveal why he was transferred from a North Carolina federal prison to a hospital. But bureau spokeswoman Traci Billingsley did say there have been no assaults at the prison in the past week.

Lawyer Ira Sorkin tells The Associated Press that Madoff has "had some dizzy spells and some high blood pressure."

Duke University Medical Center says Madoff was released Monday. Billingsley says he is now in a prison medical facility.

Madoff has been imprisoned since March after pleading guilty to fraud and admitting cheating thousands of investors out of billions of dollars.

Interesting how this Jew gets instant care for his "condition" yet SHERRY JACKSON, the former IRS agent who exposed the fact that there is no law written that requires us "Goyim" to pay income taxes, is in a FL prison with a serious thyroid problem and she gets zero care. The FEDS want her to die for telling the truth to the American People. Check out "Eternal Jew" on youtube or google and you will see true history repeating itself---this time the joke is on the U.S.A.

He must have kept some of the money he stole. He still can afford to have a lawyer to tell us about his physical condition - something the hospital or prison representatives apparently couldn't do. Or do you suppose the lawyer is working pro bono?? Yeah, right...

It's stress, and who's surprised. This man's been making headlines (and not in a good way) for months. That's not to say he doesn't deserve it, I'm sure he does, but it's also no surprise. On the other hand, it's like someone else said below, did he take advantage of anyone who's ever worked for a living? No, seems like he only took advantage of the rich. He wasn't Robin Hood, either, he didn't take from the rich and give to the poor. He took from the rich and gave to himself. So we can't exactly call him a hero, either, but it's still hard to work up any sympathy for his "victims".

Sources also confirmed Madoff was treated at Duke University Medical Center in Durham last Friday and discharged earlier this week. Most of us cannot even to afford to look at Duke, but we as tax payers make sure prisons get the best.

I bet he does not make it to the end of next year ... mid summer he will have a heart attack/stroke or suicide. But then again since this is not the life hes used to his health will probably steady get worse over the next few months.
