NC Good Samaritan Robbed And Killed

Authorities say someone robbed and killed a North Carolina coin collector who friends say offered financial help to those struggling this Christmas.

The News & Record of Greensboro reports Friday that 76-year-old Charles Herman Brown of McLeansville was found dead Wednesday by church members who were checking on him.

They found his door kicked in and his body tied up on the floor of his ransacked office. The door to a safe where Brown kept a collection of rare coins was hanging open. Friends say he frequently talked about his coins.

The Rev. Dennis Tabor of Stevens Memorial Baptist Church said Brown had earned some extra money and had recently asked if anyone in the church needed money or help.

Authorities believe Brown had been dead for about a day.

We should not judge the criminal. What if they were a minority who was so oppressed they had not choice but to kill the man. Because there r no guilty minorities even though the commit the crime.

This breaks my heart. What a sad story to hear especially about someone who was such a caring person. Hopefully he will never suffer again and he is in a MUCH better place. And these people will be held accountable for their actions one day. It's all in the plan..... The Lord is slowly taking His people home.

The COWARDS tied up a 76 year old man? That wasn't enough? They had to kill him too? WHY?! Breaking in and scaring him is bad enough but killing him makes NO SENSE. I hope these losers get the death penalty!

This is what causes public anger at criminals; may they reap what they have sowed. Ditto to all criminals who kill. Forget early release/good behavior.
