Lawyers for one of the two men accused of murdering the student body president at the University Of North Carolina is requesting the trial be moved out of state.
Demario Atwater is accused of murdering Eve Carson in March of 2008. His lawyer filed a motion Tuesday to move Atwater's federal trial to another state. The motion says the jury pool anywhere in North Carolina would be tainted. Atwater is scheduled to go on trial for Carson's death in May.
Laurence Lovette Junior is also charged in her death.
