Obama Working On Job Creation

President Barack Obama is unveiling a fresh package of steps to spark job creation.

The package reportedly includes new tax breaks, easier credit for small business and incentives for weatherizing homes. And the president says part of it could be paid for out of the financial market bailout fund. By the latest reckoning, about $200 billion cheaper.

Top Democrats hope to spend about a third of that. But a partisan rumble is shaping up with irate Republicans who say that cash should go to pay down the massive deficit.

Obama speaks on the economy today at the Brookings Institution.

You know you can't blame all this on obama, when the rating of congress is at 23% approval.

How in the hell does a government provide or create jobs? Enlarge government, reduce tax on small business, lower taxes, bring our troops home, kill the health bill, send Pelosi and obama on a feel good trip.

If he would truly like to create jobs he would say "I resign"

The president's job approval rating plummets to the lowest level ever recorded (47%) for a president at this point in his term, according to latest Gallup poll. LOWEST LEVEL EVER RECORDED! He wants change, he's got it. How can someone that destroys create anything but destruction? Go ahead, swallow the truth. I know it hurts but it's good for you. You need to swallow it.

It just goes to show you, if them ten dollars and they will find some way to spend it. You don't ever suppose they would do what was right and strike it to the deficit....do you?

I hope these turn out to be "good paying" jobs. The old joke from the Bush era was. "Yea, I know about the jobs that were created, I have three of them"

Obama needs to get his hands out of the situation in order to creat jobs. Smaller government, lower taxes and less illegitamte gvmnt spending will aid the situation. Not Obama saying "I'm going to create jobs, hope, change"

Obama's recent trip to China to borrow more money by giving away our future to them enabled him to come up with this package. Just another "rob peter to pay paul" scenario. He is hurting this country more than you can imagine and I feel for the next president that attempts to straighten out the horrible mess left behind from these degenerate lying thieving hypocrites. God have mercy on us.

Hey, he just, single handedly, created 30,000 government service jobs in Afghanastan. He's doing what he said, he's creating jobs...

Thought TARP and the Stimulus were to create jobs? Wonder how much he will have to borrow this time and how much it will cost us in higher taxes and more job losses?
