Four US Service Members Died In Afghan Attacks

The military says four U.S. service members have been killed in the past 24 hours in Afghanistan.

NATO says in a statement released Monday that three of the Americans died in southern Afghanistan on Sunday. Two of them were killed by a bomb attack and the third in a separate firefight.

The military said the fourth U.S. service member died in the east Monday in a bomb explosion.

To Hello?: I noticed it too & saw it dwindle down the list, but you gotta remember all of us posted our comments earlier in the morning/day when in fact this story was #2 on the list...

I think all of you are missing something very obvious with this story: it is buried as the last story ... after Santa, after coyotes in Charlotte, and after a trooper's lost hat. Have we become so numb that this is no longer news worthy to deserve a better placement?

Your comment makes no sense in relation to this story. A 'few' more troops getting sent into harms way WOULD NOT have prevented these four American heros from getting killed in combat. Have you forgotten the THOUSANDS of soldiers that Bush sent into harms way since 2003?? Osama Bin Laden was never caught under Bush's reign. Were you HAPPY with Bush's decision to divert attention away from Afghanistan and just focusing on finding the so called weapons of mass destruction aren't even in Iraq? NO I bet you didn't. Obama is darned if he does and darned if he doesn't in your republican eyes.

I find it odd that Obama ignores his general for 80 some days now. Is he that cowardly or confused on what to do? Sad, that our soldier will go into harms way without support of a president.
