Body Of Fort Bragg Paratrooper Found

NATO military divers have found the body of one of two U.S. soldiers who went missing last week.

The two paratroopers were trying to recover airdropped supplies that fell into a river in western Afghanistan. Local police have said the two were swept away by the river as they tried to recover the supplies.

Afghan and international forces are still searching for the second soldier.

The paratroopers were assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne based at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville.

Meanwhile, a suicide bomber on a motorcycle has reportedly detonated his explosives near a NATO military convoy in Afghanistan.

The governor of the province where the attack took place says the blast killed a man and a woman and wounded three passers-by.

A NATO spokeswoman confirms that a military convoy has been hit by an explosion that wounded both Afghan locals and international troops. She did not have any further details.
