Actually I'll elaborate. Sarah Palin's son serves in the army infantry in Iraq and John McCain's kid Jimmy was a marine in Anbar fighting in Anbar province. Joe Biden's son is an army lawyer in Bagdad's relatively safe green zone.

"True American" (and I use that phrase lightly), we now know your answer. You, my chicken hawk, hypocritical "friend", are nothing more than a message board "warrior". Go to a tea-party, fake psuedo-patriotism, and type to your hearts content, but you're a phony, Phony. We vets that really put our life where are values are don't need your pandering, thank you very much. Have a good day.

You can't please some of you people. If they didn't come visit our troops here in NC, you'd lash out at them for that. I'm with Lavon, I support our troops and thank our leaders for taking the time to show their support. Some people are so full of hate that there eyes are glued shut. I'm sorry for you.

Steve, you understand. And Citizen, you are absolutely right. This is all for show, whether these politicians care for our troops or not. However, these photo-ops, and special visits are much more credible when these politicians have favorable veteran voting records, which Joe Biden has exemplified. For many "former" veterans and politicians, like John McCain and others who try to take every penny from less fortunate vets, they can keep their speeches, and their handshakes.

Biden's son is serving in Iraq. You know, like when President Bush's (the 1st) son George served in Vietnam right? NOT!
