Fort Bragg To Host Bike Ride For Wounded Soldiers

The first day of a five-day bicycle ride to raise money for wounded soldiers will get under way at a North Carolina Army post.

The ride starts Thursday with a 20-mile course that will start and end at Wilson Park at Fort Bragg. Riders will pass in front of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters, enter the 82nd Airborne Division parking lot and will ride through the 18Th Airborne Corps headquarters parking lot.

The ride continues in Raleigh on Friday and Charlotte on Saturday.

    What a wonderful way to recognize these wounded soldiers it would be to install more bike lanes in all of NC towns and cities as a way of getting us off our oil addiction and ending these long wars.
