NC Man Sought In Killing Of Fayetteville Man

Police say they have a suspect in the killing of a North Carolina man shot after he asked two men arguing in his Fayetteville home to leave because they were making him nervous.

The Fayetteville Observer reported an arrest warrant for first-degree murder was issued Friday for 20-year-old Genesis Whitted Jr.

Detective Gary Womble says Whitted and a second man were arguing in Kenneth Underwood's home on Sept. 17 when Underwood asked them to leave.

Investigators say the men then began to argue with other people in the front yard, and Whitted pulled a gun from his jacket and fired several shots at the house.

Authorities say Underwood was struck, stumbling out of his home and collapsing in the front yard
