Gas $1.50 A Gallon Cheaper Than September 2008

Gas prices are about $1.50 a gallon cheaper than they were this time last year.

In September 2008 the average price of regular gas in our state was $3.88. Today the average is $2.36.

Some people say the lower prices mean hundreds of dollars a month that they're not spending on gas.

A year ago the national average gas price was $3.60. Today it's $2.49, up about 65-cents a gallon since the beginning of 2009.

Derek, Rachael Maddow? I guess she is true middle in your opinion? A conspiracy? So, two journalists get a story of corruption and show it on TV for you to decide for yourself and that is a conspiracy? What I saw was corruption, just like the dems and reps in both houses. If you need the UTube link, let me know, its very incriminating and should be prosecuted. I think the only reason Obama has not had it investigated is it is Obama's Obamagate. The point about gas prices is correct.

Gas prices may be cheaper, but what is the unemployment compared to last year this time. Less demand because people don't have the jobs to buy gas, keep their cars or their homes.

gas is cheaper now compared to last year because the demand isn't as high as it was, remember China required a lot of fuel to build and host the olympics. OSOC -

Don't worry folks, if Iran doesn't stop its nuke program, Israel will. Then we can see the prices go back up to new levels. Some forget, prices spiked due to speculators on wall street. If Israel does attack, speculators will have a field day!

This is why me and those like me (you!) never visit WITN website! Only trust Fox news, only they can be trusted for bein' unbiased. Well, them and "The Wise One"... and Obama Snake Oil... We band together to keep those grimey gubmint hands off our Medicare! As my hero Laura Ingram likes to shout (that is her ain't it, and not a parody?) "Power to the People"! Just imagine if Palin and Beck had babies together- these super chillins would SAVE the WORLD!

That's what we're working on Wilma. The plan is to implement oil dredging off of our coast.

More biased crapola that is supposed to make us feel good about gas at $2.40 a gallon. I'd like someone to explain to me why the price of a barrel of oil is about the same now as the time 7 or 8 months ago when we went as low as $1.39 a gallon........Media is trying to portray this as It was awful then, but it's GREAT now! Nope, don't buy it. People, many people.....can't afford gas at the price it is now. We need to become self sufficient when it comes to this.
