Gas Prices Fall Slightly

The average price of regular gasoline in the U.S. is down about a nickel from three weeks ago to $2.59 a gallon. That's according to the national Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday.

Analyst Trilby Lundberg says the average price for a gallon of mid-grade was $2.72. Premium was at $2.84.

St. Louis had the lowest price, $2.26 a gallon for regular. Anchorage was the highest at $3.27.

i wonder why it is when there is a crisis to make the price of oil go up like 25 cents or more in like two days , but when the price on a barrel of oil falls alot it takes like 2 months for the price to go down as much as it went up in 2 days? why can't it fall just as fast as it went up?

Shame, now more people will be wasting more fuel and adding to the congestion and pollution of our planet. We should stop destroying our planet and economy by sending all of these funds to these oil companies. If we had better zoning plans, alternative power sources, and various transportation means, we could work on breaking this addiction.
