Illegal Immigrant In NC Sentenced For Impersonating Officer

An illegal Mexican immigrant living in North Carolina has been sentenced to seven years in prison after authorities say he impersonated a Customs Border Patrol officer and tricked illegal immigrants into paying him for proper documentation.

Prosecutors say Roberto Diosdado-Star wore a Customs Border Patrol uniform that included a badge, hat and Homeland Security shield.

Authorities say Diosdado-Star collected more than $200,000 from Hispanic individuals seeking legal documentation for themselves or family members and used the money to buy several vehicles and a house in Raleigh.

Diosdado-Star pleaded guilty to visa fraud and illegal re-entry
in February and was sentenced Thursday.

This is why 4 states have declared their Sovereignty those are Texas,Utah,Montana&Oklahoma and are telling the fed's to take a hike as they will enforce the laws already on the books.N.C,S.C Tenn&Kentucky are rumored to be next.

Illegals are here to stay. A state trooper once told me they can only enforce certain laws at check points. So here they are with at least 5 illegals on the side of the road with no license to drive and knowing they are ilegal. So give ,em and ticket and drive to kill another day. There hands are tied by the corrupt polticians.

An illegal "immigrant" from Mexico living in North Carolina? GEE,WHAT ARE THE ODDS?! Sarcasm aside,go to the Wal-Mart in Wilson some Saturday and watch them disembark from their school buses. Kinda makes you appreciate how it must have been at the Alamo.

let's just send him to Maricopa county to see sheriff Joe Arpaio and spend his nights in tent city.

I say let him continue but the govt gets 75% of whatever he makes. He can shake down all the illegals he can get his hands on...why should we care they're not supposed to be here anyway! It'll discourage the border jumpers and generate revenue which could go toward building more fence. Plus it says he bought several vehicles and a house with his money so whats the downside here?

Don't send him back, he would come back as Walker Texas Ranger.

Because, he would be back in a month doing exactly the same thing. Sounds like he made some pretty good money though. I agree that we shouldn't have to support him, he should go toprison in his own country.

No, Mr. T. He will just come back, if we deport him. Its like the addage "feed a hungry dog and you can't get rid of him". We let illegals get a taste of "American life" cause our touchy feely government doesn't wanna hurt nobody's feelings.I say we build jails, where you sleep on concrete, make a pillow out of your clothes ,have to pay for bread and water and get nothing else. Make is miserable to be there, and make someone never want to return. Is he getting any jail time for being illegal??
