Economic Protection Act Gives Homeowners Hope

Homeowners everywhere in the state can benefit from a new law approved by the state general assembly Thursday, the attorney general says

Roy Coopers office says the Consumer Economic Protection Act of 2009 will ensure that homeowners and their mortgage lenders have the chance to voluntarily resolve foreclosures.

The act requires lenders, among other things, to explain in detail their efforts to resolve delinquent home loans without resorting to foreclosure.

    When am I going to benefit from a stupid government program aided by my tax dollars. A responsible middle class family has to watch all others benefit.
