Lansal, Inc., is pulling its hummus and dips products off the shelf due to concerns about possible bacterial contamination.
There are concerns over whether the products could be tainted with listeria, a food-borne bacterium, which can cause serious and even fatal infections for some.
Products of Lansal, Inc. include Target Archer Farms Hummus products, Trader Joe's 5 Layered Dip, Edamame Hummus and certain Giant Eagle Hummus products.
To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
