A new bill just went through the senate that asks the Transportation Security Administration to give military members a bit more wiggle room when it comes to their security screenings.

In Jacksonville, Albert J Ellis Airport director , Chris White, says if passed, the bill would add to the provisions already made for service members.

"Currently, wounded warriors are given some preferential treatment. Military personnel traveling on orders don't have to remove their boots," said White.

White says while the bill may shake things up a little for military members. Ultimately, anyone traveling on an aircraft will be subject to checks at random, regardless of any provisions.
