The Better Business Bureau says messages are showing up on Facebook saying "OMG!! McDonald's might soon shut down because of this! Warning: Your jaw will drop to the floor!" You are then instructed to click on a link to see what the deal is. The BBB says, "Whatever you do, don't click on this link."
Reports say you'll then be instructed to fill out a survey that asks for personal information thieves can use to clean out your bank account. There is also concern that clicking the link could download harmful spyware onto your computer.
