"Like" Subway Campaign Scam

The Better Business Bureau says a scam is going the web, offering a free Subway gift card from clicking on a "like" Facebook button. Subway told the Bureau that the promotion is a scam.

The Better Business Bureau says clicking on the fake promotion could allow scammers to get your Facebook password. Officials suggest if you did click on this, change your password as a precaution. The site, www.footlongspromotion.com also tries to collect credit card information.

I did this last week and then my computer got a virus. What it said is that you have to join two other offers to get your giftcard. I joined a coffee club and netflix which are legitimate businesses but of course after I joined, nothing happened with the gift card. The next day my computer got a virus and I have just gotten it back after being fixed.
