A popular TV show says someone is using its good name to send out fake sweepstakes letters and checks.

Fox and the producers of "American Idol" say letters about winning a sweepstakes are showing up in the mail. The letters are printed on "American Idol" letterhead, and appear to be signed by the show's creator and executive producer. The letter comes with a fake check, and a number to call to claim your big prize. "American Idol's" website says this is a scam.

If you are dumb enough to believe you won something like this without even turning in your name, you need serious help.
