The FBI is warning about an email trying to make people who lost money on scams think their ship is about to come in.
The emails say you are entitled to a refund, to compensate victims of internet fraud. The email claims to be from IC3, which is the FBI's internet fraud fighting arm, and the government of the United Kingdom. The emails use logos to make them look official.
The emails say you'll get thousands of dollars via bank wire transfer from the Bank of England once you sign a funds release order. The emails also say, if you don't sign the order, the funds will be placed on hold and you'll have to pay a penalty.
The FBI says, this is a scam.
