Police: Gang Email Is A Hoax

If you've gotten an email that explains a disturbing gang initiation, Greenville Police say, don't buy it. Police say they've gotten several calls about an email talking about gang initiations where young women are abducted, raped, beaten and left for dead. The Greenville Police Department says they have received no reports like the heinous crimes the email talks about. The email has been circulating at East Carolina University and Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Here's another scam! I received a letter with a fake check $2,342,000.00, Memo # 7010017874. Please don't fall for this scam The audacity of asking for $20. if I had won over 2 million. These Scamers need to be stopped. Just think of the 20's they get from those less fortunate people that are already struggling for meds and food with the hope of a reward out there somewhere.

I received a letter from Unclaimed Sweeps Advisory today. I googled the supposed agencys' name, and found out that it is a scam! The 20.00 they request you to send is for a report of Unclaimed cash prizes from different sponsors who conduct sweepstakes. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! IT'S A SCAM! I'm filing a complaint at the following website. http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/sweepsscam_UnclaimedSweepsAdvisory.php

I received a letter and a none cashable check with no phone # to call. The check was for $2,342,000.00 they also require a payment of $20.00 dollars but don't mention what the $20.00 is for. You have to sign the document and verify certain information. The mailing address is PO Box 527800 Miami, FL 33152-9962..These scams are getting really old and you would think the Federal Government would do something about it. They should be able to track down who the PO Box is rented by and go from there.
