Romney Congratulates Gingrich, But Says Gingrich Shouldn't Be Nominee

Even as he congratulates Newt Gingrich on his victory in the South Carolina primary, Mitt Romney is telling supporters that Gingrich isn't the one to lead the Republicans to victory in November.

He says Republicans can't win with a candidate who has never run a business and has never run a state. Without singling out Gingrich by name, Romney again criticized Republican opponents who he said had joined Democrats in attacking the free enterprise system. Gingrich had been among those raising questions about Romney's tenure as head of a venture capital firm.

Romney devoted most of his other remarks to an attack on President Barack Obama, repeating his charge that Obama wants to "fundamentally transform" America, while Romney wants to restore it to its founding principles. He promised to repeal Obama's health care overhaul, balance the budget and reduce the size of government.

Romney vowed to "keep fighting for every vote" in the weeks and months ahead. He's already looking ahead to the next primary in Florida, a state that he says has "suffered terribly" under what he calls the "failed policies" of Obama.

I just wish Chris Christie or Herman Cain would still run. Right now, I'm for Ron Paul if he is still in, but the last person that should be in the white house after 2012 is that scumbag who lied his way into office.

Obama will never win the 2012 election without ACORN! Obama would never have been elected President. If was not for his friends at ACORN , and thier voter fraud scams. Barack Obama working with ACORN as a "community organizer" and legal representative. ACORN's political action committee has warmly endorsed his presidential candidacy back in 2008. Let's take a closer look at the ACORN Obama knows. Last July, ACORN settled the largest case of voter fraud in the history of Washington State. Seven '7' ACORN workers had submitted nearly 2,000 bogus voter registration forms. According to case records, they flipped through phone books for names to use on the forms, including "Leon Spinks," "Frekkie Magoal" and "Fruto Boy Crispila." Three '3' ACORN election hoaxers pleaded guilty in October. A King County prosecutor called ACORN's criminal sabotage "an act of vandalism upon the voter rolls." The group's vandalism on electoral integrity is systemic. ACORN has been implicated in similar voter fraud schemes in Missouri, Ohio and at least 12 other states. The Wall Street Journal noted: "In Ohio in 2004, a worker for one affiliate was given crack cocaine in exchange for fraudulent registrations that included underage voters, dead voters and pillars of the community named Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey. During a congressional hearing in Ohio in the aftermath of the 2008 election, officials from several counties in the state explained ACORN's practice of dumping thousands of registration forms in their lap on the submission deadlines, even though the forms had been collected months earlier.

I would vote for Romney over Obama. He has experience in the Public Sector as Governor managing a state and in the private sector as CEO of a business.

I surely don't want Mitt in the White house, and would for sure chose Newt over him. I don't can who he slept with or when...like Clinton, it's his private life and I could care less. But Ron Paul is the man to focus on, he has a common sense about him that the others don't. They are overly rich, smug, elitist. They THINK they are all that and bag of chips. But Ron is grounded and has CLEAR ideas about what he thinks is best. Where the other two say what they think you want to hear. Ron Paul! Ron Paul!

Rep. Ron Paul kicked off his third run for president but not without inciting controversy. Shortly after calling for abolishing FEMA, the latest Republican presidential candidate told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that he would not have voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the landmark piece of legislation that outlawed major forms of discrimination against blacks and women.

Because he see PARTS of the civil rights act as unconstitutional. Takes away rights from some and gives to others.
