ROMNEY: Attorney General Holder Should Resign

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is calling on President Barack Obama's attorney general to resign because of the flawed law enforcement initiative aimed at dismantling major arms trafficking networks on the Southwest border.

Romney tells reporters after a rally in New Hampshire that Eric Holder has misled Congress and has "brought shame" on the Justice Department through his handling of Operation Fast and Furious.

Operation Fast and Furious involved more than 2,000 weapons purchased by straw buyers at Phoenix-area gun stores. Nearly 700 of those guns have been recovered - 276 in Mexico and 389 in the United States, according to ATF data as of Oct. 20.

Controversy erupted over the intitiative after two assault rifles turned up at an Arizona shootout where border agent Brian Terry was killed.

I think Willard has bigger problem than Worrying about Eric Holder. Pretty soon his poll numbers are going to be as low as Cain's.

I am amazed that the American public has such a short memory ...remember the weapons of mass destruction that we have yet to find. Any country that would elect George W. Bush not once but twice and still have the never to be critical of PRESIDENT Obama. What is this really about?

The truth is, he should have been fired a long time ago, not allowing him the opportunity to resign!!

Who could've predicted that Mitt Romney would have or express that sentiment...especially during an election primary. Holder should resign for a number of reasons...F&F being just one of them - his status as an incompetent, unqualified, radical politico being the most pressing. That said, Romney is merely an opportunist - and I'm a conservative independent.

The entire Administration out to resign or be impeached. We are being invaded along the southern border, and BHO's liberal incompetents have their head in the sand; thinking that if they ignore the problem, it will go away. The current executive branch of the federal government has more interest in takng away the rights of the legal citizens than they are '...to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
