(NBC News) President Obama has directed the Labor Department to change overtime rules.
The change would make millions more workers eligible for time-and-a-half pay.
The president's request comes as he focuses more than ever on increasing worker pay, including a federal minimum wage hike.
Still, for some businesses the new plan is creating more worry than ever about their bottom lines.
