Obama Signs Asia-Pacific Business Travel Bill

President Barack Obama has signed a bill making it easier for U.S. business travelers to access Asia-Pacific nations more freely and quickly.

Obama signed the measure just before taking the stage Saturday to address the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit in his native Hawaii, referring to it as an "APEC business gold card."

The APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) allows pre-screened business travelers easier entry to most of the 21 APEC member economies. The card removes the hassle of individually applying for visas or entry permits for every visit. It also allows multiple short-term entries into participating economies during the three years the card is valid. Card holders also benefit from faster immigration processing via special APEC fast lanes at major airports.

This is unusual. Usually it's the mortgager that gets easier access to the mortgagee, not the other way around..

China isn't a lender in the traditional sense. They are also not the largest holder of US debt, not by a long shot. China is portrayed in this way due to their image as a communist country, as a way to manipulate political discourse. I would encourage you to research this.

Will you please tell Obama Hawai is not an Asian country, its an American country. While your at it, let him know there are only 50 states.....And that communist thing...well, seems that country is large enough to do damage to the US with not only our debt but with their military. Figure it out please.

No, Jim, its not a joke. When China recalls all the debt we owe them, this will make it easier for us to go to China to work as slave labor, to pay off our debt. Mr. "O" knows what he's doing.
