New Polls Show Interesting Results In Governor Race

There are new poll numbers on the presumed match up in the North Carolina governor's race, and it's not good news for the incumbent.

Public Policy Polling's latest numbers on the hypothetical match up between Gov. Bev Perdue and former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory, show McCrory leading Perdue by 11 points. The polling group says this is McCrory's largest lead in their polls in several months.

Mccrory is widely expected to announce towards the end of the month that he is running against Perdue in a rematch of their close 2008 election race.

I always have to laugh that people around here don't like Yankee's and yet you vote for people like McCrory who is from Ohio originally. If you don't want us here, then don't sell your land and vote for us.

Why do you leave the north if it's so great. Have you no roots or is it so bad there you feel you must share it with us, trying to make us as unhappy as you.

i don't care what the party is, someone with knowhow needs to get in--if it's one or the other, independent, agnostic, christian, or Jehovah's witness. We need change--this Perdue woman has had an agenda since she took office. Get her out!

She is history. She has ticked off teachers, state employees, and most other income tax-paying citizens. The majority of those who still want her as governor are the people who receive public assistance.
