McCrory Doesn't Exclude NC Dems In New GOP Team

Incoming North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory says he's on a quest to find the best talent to run his administration, and it's too soon to say Democrats won't be part of his team.

McCrory said in an interview Saturday with The Associated Press he's working hard to get his administration in place ahead of taking office in January. He says he's trying to find the best talent available to make government function in his image.

McCrory says he's not shutting down the possibility that the first GOP governor in 20 years could have Democrats in his cabinet in charge of state agencies.

He's just back from Republican Governors Association conference in Las Vegas, where he says he walked out of a Cirque du Soleil show before he fell asleep.
