Donald Trump Headlines State GOP Convention

Donald Trump is urging North Carolina's Republicans to "fight like hell" to sway people to vote for Mitt Romney in this year's presidential election.

The News & Record reports that the real estate mogul says that President Barack Obama doesn't have the business savvy to lead the U.S. to a better economic future.

Trump spoke during the Friday night banquet of the North Carolina Republican Party 2012 State Convention.

He says the country needs a president who is "smart, tough and gets it."

State GOP Chairman Robin Hayes introduced Trump, using his signature line.

Hayes said: "We are waiting for your words in November to say, `President Obama, You're fired!"'
