Most Americans don't think Congress is doing a good job. That's according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll.
Well U.S. Senator Kay Hagan was in Kinston Friday morning talking with people, we asked her about the poll that shows the approval rating for Congress at an all-time low.
Senator Hagan believes the approval rating is low because many legislators don't want to compromise. "I think people need to understand that when we are working on legislation we have got to actually work together."
Residents at the event told us they're concerned about jobs, the economy, healthcare, and even federal loans. Many people said they disapproved of the job Congress is doing because it seems like legislators can't ever agree.
