Cain's Wife: Sex Harassment Claims Don't Ring True

Herman Cain's wife says the claims of sex harassment against the GOP presidential candidate don't ring true because he "totally respects women."

Gloria Cain told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren: "I'm thinking he would have to have a split personality to do the things that were said." She said she can't believe the claims he harassed women when he led the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.

Gloria Cain said, " I know the type of person he is. He totally respects women."

Excerpts of her comments were released Sunday, a day before the full interview was to be aired during the show "On the Record."

The republican candidates must be great at The Limbo. They don't seem to care how low they go and neither do their supporters. How low can they go: Newtie: Questionable business deals as usual, Perry: Doesn't lose any sleep about executing a human being, Michele: Calls others socialists while she and her husband take all the government money they can get their hands on, Cain: He paid the money, he harassed the women, Mitt: Just a Liar. He was the first to institute Obama Cares on a state level. The Limbo stick is lying on the ground and they can still get under it.

Why would any organization pay two women off to keep quiet? He was the head of this organization, and he was aware money was given to them. Cain this is an insult to all women. And you should be ashamed of yourself. You are the one lying and it will eventually all come out to show the world what you have done to these women. Cain as president? We would (as a country) be the laughing stock of the world. We would never be taken seriously on anything again.

After stumbling on a question about the situation in Libya just days ago, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain suggested on Friday that he believes the new Libyan government involves elements of the Taliban. "Do I agree with siding with the opposition? Do I agree with saying that Gaddafi should go?" Cain said. "Do I agree that they now have a country where you've got Taliban and Al Qaeda that's going to be part of the government?" The GOP hopeful's rhetorical questions were part of Cain's defense of his earlier gaffe. He made the suggestion at an Orlando press conference.

I didn't know the Taliban had expanded to Libya. Since I sort of do intelligence work in Afghanistan I'm surprised I didn't know this. I guess Herman must have heard it from his new Secret Service contacts or did one of his well informed advisers give him this jewel of knowledge? My biggest fear is working for someone this stupid because no matter what you tell them they either don't understand it, don't want to hear it, don't remember it or both.

Herb, the Libya story was HUGE. Anyone who makes even a feeble effort to follow current events knows more about Libya and the overthrow of Gaddafi than you seem to. Crack open a newspaper or listen to BBC radio or NPR now and then. What a Buffoon.
