Election officials say problems this morning at three precincts in Beaufort County have been resolved.
Kellie Hopkins, Beaufort County Board of Elections Director, tells WITN that problems with printers were reported at the precincts in Edward, Washington Park and North Creek.
In Washington Park, the printer problems led election workers to believe some people had already voted, but that was not the case. Hopkins says they identified two people who left the precinct without voting.
Overall in Beaufort County, Hopkins said the polls had been very busy in the morning, and she expected a good day of voter turnout.
