Emanuel: "Limbaugh Is The Intellectual Force Of The GOP"

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama's chief of staff says talk show personality Rush Limbaugh is a top figure in the Republican Party.

Chief of staff Rahm Emanuel says Limbaugh is the "intellectual force" of the GOP. Emanuel says Republicans now have to live with that choice.

Limbaugh gave a major speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee meeting this weekend in Washington. Limbaugh says it's fine for Republicans to criticize Obama's plans and says Republicans must return to their core beliefs.

Limbaugh has been a vocal critic of Obama's, saying he hopes the new president's plans fail. Liberal and labor groups have broadcast ads citing Limbaugh as a driving force inside the GOP.

Emanuel spoke on CBS' "Face the Nation."

Limbaugh tells the American people how it really is. The democrats - Emanuel and the Obama crew are destroying American with higher taxes and over the top spending. I do not think Obama has a clue how American people feel about all this spending or does he really care. Maybe he could not travel to places like Ohio to announce 25 new jobs. How much did that trip cost the American people?

Here we go with the left trying to draw attention away from their disaster in chief. Limbaugh is not the leader of the republican party!

Hey Eagleman in Asheville, glad to see some people are using their brain and are getting ready for the gov. to stick it to us. When the hyper-inflation hits in 2 years with the sky-high taxes... hold on... the strong and the prepared will survive. The middle class is being wiped out, Obuma wants us all poor..remember its all about control and economic bondage. He got the dummy vote, but smart ones like us will ride the hard times and we are not sitting around idle, wringging our hands. Everyday, I am preparing...I have a years worth of food. Alternate heat source, a well pump in my yard for water and can protect my property. People better get wise.

Lol... Thanks Sally... Yes, it would be wise to have a 2-3 month supply of can foods. About 10-15 boxes of cereal too... Try not to be upset. Personally, I'm able to laugh at it all - or should I say at them - them being the likes of Obama, most democrats, and those who are so easily deceived by them. Well, most democrats are themselves deceived. Have to admit, in a way I sometimes feel sorry for the people who set themselves up for destruction - like some who post on here. Some will come around and see the light, others will continue their folly until the end.

Get in reality people, time for a REALITY check. We are in a DEPRESSION now!!! Why is the gov. stock piling can goods?? I could go on ....is not a fear tactic. Rush tells us like it is and if you listen to the crooks in DC., well keep on listening, you will be the one on the streets begging for food, I am preparing myself and if you have a brain you would get busy and think about your future and learn the present decisions of OBUMA will affect your future. This is serious and if you still want to make a joke about the worldly problems and believe, OH... everything will be alright the president will take care of us, yea right. Does a bear s--- in the woods. Some people are so blind and dumb. This is a different world now and it changed 50 days ago and I must say FOR THE WORSE. Get busy, you will not regret it.

Coach, Ace hath drinketh of the koolaide Rush hath speaketh of. He hath lost his way in the liberal cesspool as he believeth of the chosen one. I cannot wait tilth they hath distributh his wealth, it shant be that funny then. Oh, the just did, didn't they? They even sold out his grandkids future. But it is OK, he shalt feel good whilst he waiteth in the gas lines Obama will create.

Wise one: You remind me of the people that send dirty text and then send one of those messages about the Lord and send to 10 friends. Ace: Can't believe I'm saying this but, I'd rather have a tad of Tad's reasoning than a load of your common sense. Not all rep. voted for McCain. Tad: Again I do not tingle when President Obama Speaks but do shiver when I think of McCain having been or Palin becoming President.

Obama Snake Oil Co..... will you plzzzz stop reminding me that I voted for Obama! ...My reasons we simple. McCain was Bush dressed up in a Monkey suit, with an escort on his arm. Obama could talk the talk and walk the walk, and his VP appeared to be better equipped to handed that job in which he was given. ..I feel like we were giving the worst of the worst candidates to choose from.... But people wanted a change from 8 years of Bush. Here we are today. I am highly upset... I know there are people that have lots millions of dollars... but my family have saved $1000. every year for 15 years... then my husband wanted to invest... do I even need to continue and tell you what has happened to my money ... I couldn't anyway.... because when they tell you it's gone! ..They don't tell you where it went!
