Perdue Writes To Support Federal Stimulus Package

Gov.-elect Beverly Perdue wants Congress to pass another economic stimulus package that would benefit North Carolina and other states.

The Democratic lieutenant governor wrote Friday to North Carolina's congressional delegation. She asked them to support federal spending helping the unemployed, homeowners at risk of foreclosure, and the state.

Perdue said money for highway and infrastructure projects and Medicaid also would create jobs and provide health care to more poor people.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats want Congress to pass a stimulus package this year.

Perdue is taking a vacation next week after a long campaign in which she defeated Republican Pat McCrory. Her inauguration is Jan. 10.

Two States have a surplus,Indianna and Utah, and are not crawling to the federal government for help. Maybe she should check with their governors to see how it's done? Check the salaries of the federal employees in DC. No wonder DC, northern Va. and Maryland vote Democrat. That's where the FREE lunch starts.

Nothing is free people. It may only cost you one of your freedoms but, nothing is free. One world government is the goal. Fight back America before it's too late. Tough times don't last tough people do.

Me and my husband have to pay taxes every year. They will probably pass it right when it is time to pay taxes so they can keep the entire amount of the check.
