Bush Congratulates Obama On Election Victory

President Bush is promising to cooperate with Barack Obama in the transition work that will precede the transfer of power to the newly elected Democrat.

Bush went to the Rose Garden of the White House Wednesday morning to also pay tribute to John McCain and Sarah Palin, the losing Republican ticket.

He said that Obama's election was a historic breakthrough in a country that has had monumental civil rights battles. Bush said, "No matter how they cast their ballots, all Americans can be proud of the history that was made yesterday."

To Wow. I voted for Obama. I'm white. I voted for him because I thought he was the better canidate, not for the color of his skin. For the first time in a very long time I AM proud of my country. It's people like you and Nick below that hold this country back. Times are changing, so get use to it. That's the disgrace Nick. what TYPE of people are you thinking he is going to put in the

I'm not proud of the majority of the people in this country. What a disgrace. There is no room in the White House for someone like obama or the type of people he is going to put in there working under him. I didn't have the money to leave this country before, I know I'm not going to have it now with him as the president. He will take all I have to pay for the ones that sit on their rears and do nothing. It's hard enough to support my family, let alone everyone elses. The people that voted for him are going to make us all suffer in the end. Lets hope and pray we can survive the next 4 years under this monstrosity!

What if it was Hilary would the county be sexist? "1 nation under god, indivisible" sorry things didnt go your way, but thats no reason to lose pride for this country!
