Outside groups have spent more than $22 million dollars in trying to influence North Carolina's U.S. Senate election.
Much of money has been aimed at unseating Republican
incumbent Elizabeth Dole.
An Associated Press-GfK poll taken last week showed Democrat Kay Hagan slightly ahead of Dole. But Hagan said "the biggest poll" comes Tuesday night.
Dole took her final campaign day to the air, hitting all the state's major media markets in a final push to save her seat.
